Mourners grieved the loss of Governor Andrew Cuomo aide Carey Gabay at a public wake Friday in the Clinton Hill section Brooklyn.
Gabay was shot in the head during J'ouvert festivities earlier this month.
He was standing in the middle of a crowd near Bedford Avenue and Sullivan Place.
Mayor Bill de Blasio and Chirlane McCray were among those in attendance at Emmanuel Baptist Church Friday. Lieutenant Governor Kathy Hochul was also there.
Investigators are still looking for Gabay's killer.
